Protein Pioneers Cluster Knowledge Sharing Meeting
InnoProtein was pleased to join the Protein Pioneers cluster for a very beneficial knowledge-sharing session on June 29th. The Protein Pioneers Cluster brings together European Union-funded projects working toward a shared goal: transforming protein production through sustainable innovation.
The cluster aims to strengthen collaboration by identifying common challenges, exchanging knowledge, and exploring opportunities to work together toward a more sustainable protein future. This meeting allowed members to reintroduce their projects and discuss future collaboration.
The session was hosted by Like-a-Pro Project Manager Suzan D’Rose and brought together representatives from all six cluster members: Like a Pro, InnoProtein, ZEST, Sustain-a-Bite, CircAlgae, and Plantomyc.
Each project presented its objectives, scope, and current progress before the discussion turned to shared topics, including consumer safety, regulatory assessments, common challenges, and opportunities for future cooperation. The meeting provided valuable insight into the complementary expertise across the cluster and highlighted promising areas for future collaboration. InnoProtein looks forward to continuing to work with the Protein Pioneers Cluster as these partnerships develop.
