InnoProtein at IFIB 2026

InnoProtein participated in the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB 2026), held on 1-2 October 2026, in Rome. The project’s poster was selected for the dedicated poster session, offering an opportunity to showcase InnoProtein’s work to an international audience of researchers, industry representatives, policymakers and innovators.

IFIB brings together stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging developments and foster collaboration around industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy, with a strong focus on sustainable, circular and bio-based solutions.

Reflecting these priorities, InnoProtein presented its approach to advancing alternative proteins derived from fungi, bacteria, microalgae and insects, supporting the development of more sustainable and resilient food systems fit for the future.
